"Glorying God by loving and caring the Children of God."
LAGES Children of God with Mr. Glen L. Pardillo and Ma'am Ching. |
December 14, 2012, it was a
glorious day for the LAGES Children of God for they had their 6th
year Christmas Party, of course together with their ever-loving Ma’am Ching. A
short program was held wherein the Children of God had their doxology entitled “Grace”,
they danced to “Oppa Gangnam stlye” and sang “Star ng Pasko.” LAGES principal,
Mr. Glen Pardillo and teachers were also around to grace the event. Some former
loyal 2000 USEP Lab School students of Maam Ching came and distributed school
supplies to the Children of God. Plus, GMA anchor Helen Quiñanola and camera
man Norlie Morata featured the momentous Christmas party of the Children of
God.
On an interview, Mr. Pardillo
expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of Ma’am Ching to school. He
added that among the school adaptors, only Ma’am Ching gives this “Bonggang”
party. She is such a generous and kind hearted person I have ever known.
Each Children of God received a
pack of rice, beef loaf, loaf bread, candies, an envelope with school supplies
and a toy. There were also some give a ways courtesy of Ma’am Loida Suyo which were given to selected Children of God
for winning games like the biggest box and fit my shoes.
Ma’am Ching quickly looked for
the Child of God who has a unique story. This Child of God was asked to drop
from the list of Children of God, and be officially under the “Busog, Lusog at
Talino Program” school. However, the child of God refused to be taken out for
the reason that the child of anticipated this event wherein everyone would
receive the pack of rice, etc. The Child of God further added that his father
was unemployed and the rice would surely a big help to his family. When Ma’am Ching learned the story, she
prepared some stuff toys for the child. She thought it was a girl. But the
child of God was a boy, and the boy felt excited when he received his two stuff
toys which he could share with his newly born baby sister.
Another young girl cried when Ma’am
Ching failed to give her a pair of shoes. It was because she failed to come
ahead of others when it was announced. She badly cried over the pair of shoes for she
could hardly remember any shoes she worn before. Since, there were no shoes left;
a shoulder bag was handed to her.
Ma’am Ching and LAGES would to
extend their gratitude to the persons who in one or another have helped this
